Personal Hygiene Tips

Hygiene-Step By Step

What is the big deal bout personal hygiene?

Personal hygiene is the first step to good grooming and good health. When we look good and take care of our personal hygiene, we feel better about ourselves. If we ignore or personal hygiene, we might have problems that we aren't even aware of like body odor or bad breath. Your appearance is the first thing people notice when they meet you for the first time. First appearances often make lasting impressions?

Hair Care:
Comb and brush your hair several times daily, especially before heading to school. Shampooing on a regular basis keeps hair looking its best.

Face:
Washing your face at least 2 times a day will help keep your skin healthy and clean.

Hands and feet:
Washing your hands is the most important way to prevent the spread of germs. Remember to keep finger and toe nails cleaned and trimmed. Be sure to wash your feet with soap, rinse and dry them completely after your bath.

Mouthcare:
Tooth brushing is the most important thing you can do to care for your teeth and gums and prevent decay.
Toothpaste cleans your teeth, helps remove harmful plaque, and freshens your breath. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. Regular visit to the dentist are very important.

Body:
Bathing daily is necessary to clean your skin and reduce body odor. Using deodorant or antiperspirant everyday is also helpful to reduce odor. Wearing clean clothes is also important for good hygiene. Dirty clothes on a clean body will still smell dirty.
